Sweetlife Photography provides guided newborn photography at its North Lakes studio for families from Brisbane’s northside and Moreton Bay. Sessions are adapted to the baby’s age and comfort, with older newborn and weekend sessions welcome and no weekend surcharge.

A session built around your baby
There is no single perfect newborn age.
Many newborn sessions take place in the first two weeks, but babies do not follow a fixed timetable. Sweetlife welcomes older newborns too. Wrapped portraits, awake expressions, tiny details and family connection can all be photographed beautifully at different stages.
Our North Lakes studio is prepared so parents can slow down. We guide the posing, allow time for feeding and settling, and adapt the session to how your baby feels on the day.

Newborn photography questions
When should I book?
Booking during pregnancy gives the best flexibility, but families can also enquire after their baby arrives.
Is my baby too old for newborn photos?
No. Older newborn sessions are welcomed and planned differently, with wrapped, awake and parent-supported portraits where suitable.
Can both parents attend on a weekend?
Yes. Weekend newborn sessions are available and there is no weekend surcharge.
