Around 100 days
The session does not need to happen on the exact calendar day. Around three months, often closest to 110 days, can suit babies with stronger head control. We plan supported positions around what your baby can comfortably do.

First birthday
First-birthday sessions are often easiest around 10–11 months, before confident walking. We can begin with clean milestone portraits and add an optional cake smash, following your baby’s pace and reactions.

Junior portraits
Junior portraits do not rely on one fixed age. When you enquire, tell us your child’s age, how active they are and what they enjoy so we can suggest the best collection, session plan and styling.
What your session can include
Every session is planned around your baby’s current development. We photograph natural expressions, comfortable supported positions and simple family or sibling combinations where the selected collection allows.
Collection A and Collection B currently include simple family and sibling photographs. Check the Pricing page before booking because package details can change.

We allow time for feeds, changes and settling, and photograph what your baby can comfortably do on the day.
Before you arrive
You do not need an elaborate wardrobe or a perfectly timed routine. A few current details help us shape the session around your baby.
Tell us when your baby is usually most settled or alert. We will discuss available session times rather than promising one rigid schedule.
Comfortable, simple clothing photographs well. Bring a second option, meaningful keepsake or cultural item if you would like it considered in the plan.
Bring the usual milk or feeding supplies. For older babies, bring only the age-appropriate snack or drink you would normally offer.

Our studio is in North Lakes. Weekend sessions are available at no extra charge, subject to current availability. Tell us where you are travelling from and we can help you plan the visit.

Yes. Newborn and older-newborn sessions focus on the early weeks. Baby milestone sessions are designed for later stages when expressions, movement and personality become a larger part of the photographs.
No. A first-birthday session can focus on clean milestone portraits without a cake. A cake smash is optional.
Collection A and Collection B currently include simple family and sibling photographs. Digital Concept treats family and sibling photographs as a separate optional add-on. Tell us who will attend before booking so we can confirm the right collection.
We can pause for feeds, changes and settling. The session follows what your baby can comfortably do, and we do not force a particular expression or unsupported position.
Bring clothing that fits comfortably now rather than an outfit bought for a later size. Simple colours and familiar outfits work well, and you can bring a second option if you would like variety.
