Sibling photographs do not depend on a toddler sitting perfectly still. We plan for movement, breaks and short moments of connection.
Sweetlife creates newborn and sibling photographs at its North Lakes studio with a calm, flexible approach. Where practical, we photograph siblings and the whole family early, then continue with baby-only photographs after the older child has finished.
Short, calm and flexible
We prepare a small number of safe, straightforward combinations and work quickly when the child is ready. A familiar adult can stay close, and breaks are expected rather than treated as a problem.
Before the day, tell us each sibling’s age and anything that helps them feel comfortable with new people or places. This helps us plan the photograph order and avoid making them wait through the full newborn session.
