Before your studio appointment
A practical arrival guide for newborn, older-newborn and family sessions at Sweetlife Photography in North Lakes.
Sweetlife Photography operates from a dedicated North Lakes studio. This guide helps booked and enquiring families plan the journey, what to bring and who will attend.
Arrive without rushing
Check the current route in the Google Business Profile before leaving. Aim to arrive close to your appointment time, with enough room for an unexpected feeding or changing stop.
Bring your usual feeding and changing supplies, a dummy if your baby uses one, and any clothing or keepsake already discussed with us. Tell us in advance if parents, siblings or grandparents will attend.
Tell us before the appointment
Your baby’s age, feeding needs, the adults and children attending, and any meaningful clothing or keepsake all affect the order of photographs. Sending these details early helps us prepare without adding pressure on the day.
Use the Google Business Profile for current directions. Bring the usual feeding and changing items, allow extra time for an unexpected stop, and tell us if a longer drive affects your preferred appointment time.
Use Sweetlife Photography’s linked Google Business Profile shortly before leaving. It contains the current North Lakes location and directions.
Bring the feeding, changing and comfort items your baby normally uses, plus any clothing or keepsake already discussed with us.
Yes. The session plan allows for feeding, changing and settling rather than expecting photographs to begin immediately.
Where possible, another adult can take a young child for a break after the family photographs are complete.
“The photographer was incredibly patient and gentle with our baby, which immediately put us at ease.”
